Excel Integration Tutorial

Excel Integration Tutorial

When building lei-lookup.com, one of the most requested features by users was integration with Microsoft Excel.

This tutorial shows you how, in a few minutes, you can set up an Excel sheet to use the lei-lookup.com  REST API to import LEI information directly into your spreadsheets. This can save hours of time compared to manually searching LEIs and cut and pasting results.

Batch Matching Tutorial

Batch Matching Tutorial

When you have more than a few Legal Entity Identifier codes to look up on lei-lookup.com it can save you time to use the batch matching function.

The batch matching process works like this:

  1. Create a CSV file containing a list of LEIs names to match.
  2. Use the “BATCH MATCH” screen to upload the file to lei-lookup.com
  3. Download the results file containing the matched LEIs codes and corresponding LEI data.

Advanced Searching and Alerting Tutorial

Advanced Searching and Alerting Tutorial

Learn how to build more complex searches that search for values in specific fields, how to save those searches and use them to generate email alerts when LEIs that match the search criteria change.

It's easy enough in lei-lookiup.com to just type away in the search box and see the search results built dynamically. In this example below, we see that searching for "JP Morgan" results in over 1000 matches.

Sometimes though, we may want our search to be more specific than this. For example we are only interested in JPMorgan LEIs that are London based. This is easy to achieve by putting the field name token, followed by a colon, then the text you are looking for. So in this case the search becomes:

"JP Morgan city:london"
