Steven started his career as a developer for James Capel and then progressed to business analysis and project management initially at HSBC and then JPMorgan and BNP Paribas, with nearly 20 years experience in the Fixed Income and IRD trading business area. His particular skills are in global electronic trading systems and integration with external systems, with a background in Rates Analytics and the design, building and testing of bond pricing systems and bilateral e-trading portals.

Steven has gained much business knowledge in the time spent on e-trading systems and in working with traders and business leads. He always seeks to understand business users and to speak their language, whilst knowing IT systems, delivering IT projects and trying to be an effective bridge between the business and IT.
